Its not lazy when theres no pet stores selling big birds in your area and pet stores suck they treat there animals like shit i was thinking of reputable people who breed birds and have online stores or sites.

Buying any animal online is NOT a good idea.
Too many scams and sick animals.
NEVER buy an animal you haven’t handled and seen in person.
That goes double for birds because they’re health can be fragile. It’s difficult to know at a glance, or in a picture, when a bird is seriously sick.
Also, bird behavioral problems can be life long.
You could get a chronic biter, or a bird that swears. It’s not visible in pictures.
Find a reputable breeder in your area.

If I was in LA for just two or three days what would the best sites to visit for spotting birds? I would be using public transport so they need to be accessible. Pretty much all the birds would be new, even the most common ones because I’ve not been to the Americas before, so all suggestions are welcome. Thanks.
