I used to chase seagulls at the beach when I was six. I have since been pecked on 3 separate occasions (and I don't antagonize birds anymore). And I don't hang around all lot of birds or anything, once was at Marine land, Just watching some whales and then BOOM vicious bird attack. And it doesn't matter if you are trying to help the bird by returning its egg. Birds don't know good intentions from bad. I also have a brother who likes to mess with baby birds. But he was preventing a newborn robin from hopping its way onto the road, and then BOOM two adult robins chase him from one side of the yard to the other.
