I have always found it is cheaper to find play toys for your bird anywhere but in a bird/pet store. My birds favourite toys are the linking chains from the baby isle at walmart. My birds also enjoy waffle balls from the dollar store. They will lay on the bottom of the cage, and throw those balls in the air and catch them. It is really entertaining to watch. It cost like $10 to make it! Also, go to Lowes and buy some PLASTIC chain there! It comes in fun colors and its like .50 cents a foot! No kidding! I just got my cockatiel a HUGE cage, 30 inches wide and 36 inches tall, for $99 SHIPPING INCLUDED. It comes in lots of colors and is powder coated etc. Shop around on eBay, they even had a corner cage with stand for $200 shipped! Don't let anyone tell you that you have to spend a ton on a cage.
