WhatBird is a great site.  Has a search feature where you can determine the bird by a variety of choices, from location, appearance, type of food, even the songs.  Just click on the search tab:

In addition, here is a list of common birds in South Carolina...look through the list to see if it&#039;s there:

Many of the birds on the list have pink beaks and feet...that&#039;s probably one of your best clues.
