Candaba’s Ibon-Ebon Festival is held on the first weekend of February to show wildlife protection in a sustainable environment. The townsfolk began celebrating the peak season of migratory birds, with the opening of the Candaba Swamp Wildlife Reserve as a new tourist destination. Candaba also happens to be the top producer of duck eggs which are usually made into balut, itlog na maalat (salted eggs) and a gourmet specially called burong ebon. The festival itself features bird-watching tours and an agro-trade fair with side activities like boat-racing, kite-flying, duck races, itik-cooking contest and the search for the best-dressed itik. The Ibon-Ebon float laden with bird-like objects representing both the Candaba’s environmental concern and agricultural productivity – striking the balance of people’s needs and sustainability. Kite-makers, parol-makers and other Kapampangan artisans designed the float, which also shows a representation of ther patron saint – San Nicolas de Tolentino. Ang alam ko ang mga tagasuporta ng Sinulog at Dinagyang hindi mayayabang. Kasi tinutulungan nila kami at nagpapasalamat kami sa kanila. Sila nga ang modelo namin.

ang mga tga sinulog lng ang hambog..kita nyo naman tinulungan kayo ng mga taga iloilo,swerte nyo at c sir ledesma sa music nyo,sir ledesma ay music direktor ng 3bu bolabola,and for how many years bnest in music hindi nkukuha nga ibang 3bu kungdi bolabola lng,at d pa na apply ang ganitong pattern ng music sa dinagyang swerte nyo sa n u pa na aplly..

Oh how desperate of u 3buLUNOK sinisiraan mu pa ang mga CEBUANO dito. Hindi utang na loob nila kung tinulungan sila ng music director ninyo, coz he was hired & besides no offense pero hindi naman kagandahan ang musicality kaya cguro hindi sila na salo sa TOP 10. I would suggest kung gusto ninyong mapasok sa TOP 10 sa ALIWAN hire a cebuano choreographer and musicians, ABUYOG, LAPAY BANTIGUE & SILOY SA ALCOY are all trained by CEBUANO choreographers & their music was composed by CEBUANO musicians
Cheskabitch is not a CEBUANO but an ILONGGO. She is using SINULOG and sinisiraan ang ibang festivals to create a BAD IMAGE against CEBUANOS. This insecure loosers are just sour graping because their beloved dinagyang festival lost to SINULOG 3X in a row making us the 1st hall of famer in ALIWAN. Cebuanos dont act like this, sinisiraan lang talaga kami

Kahit tanungin mu ang taga pampanga im sure they dont care about the best tourism events title, mas alam nila ang SINULOG infact pampanga sent a contingent in SINULOG 2006 headed by former governor Mark Lapid. Lol! Mas maganda pa panoorin ang ibon-ebon kaysa dinagyang!
